Thai Nguyen has 7 out of 9 district-level units included in the  list of geographical areas eligible for investment incentives under the Government's regulations on exemption from or reduction of land rents and enterprise income tax.

In addition to the preferential mechanism stipulated by the Government, Thai Nguyen province supports investments outside the fence ( i.e. subsidiary ones) and agricultural and hi-tech projects for those in rural agriculture. For large and important projects, Thai Nguyen authorities will coordinate with investors to study and submit to the Government for application of particular preferential policies.

Some commitments of Thai Nguyen province to investors are as follows: (1) Establishing a hotline of provincial leaders to receive information and recommendations from enterprises; (2) Supporting and create the most favorable conditions for enterprises to expand production, change and adjust investment projects; (3) Ensuring social security and order in the area; (4) Supporting enterprises in training laborers and providing labor resources; (5) 24-hour full power supply; (6) The best support for land clearance.
